Congratulations on reaching your 20th year in business! How does it feel? We are thrilled to be celebrating 20 years in business! We’ve come a long way since we first opened our doors in 2001, and this has only been made possible by our fantastically supportive customers, suppliers and our committed staff, who offer the very best customer service. We would like to extend our gratitude to our local suppliers and to our customers for their continued support.
How has Covid affected your business and community? During the Covid pandemic our team went above and beyond for the local community. A personal shopping facility was established, allowing local Hopes of Longtown customers to phone orders in, pay over the phone and have shopping either collected or delivered, enabling local people who may have been shielding to shop safely. We added a personal appointment shopping experience for Christmas 2020, and we will be offering this again for Christmas this year.
We know that sustainability is important to you, what steps are you taking to improve your sustainability? Sustainability and looking after the environment are amongst our top priorities. In 2019 we started a refill service of household and health & beauty items to reduce plastic usage. We recycle where we can, and try to reduce the use of plastic in all aspects of our business.
Is there anything else you’d like our readers to know? We greet everyone with a smile and we welcome readers to come and see us and explore our corner of Herefordshire. Why not plan a walk around our beautiful countryside, but do pop in for some snacks before you set off!
