Ludlow Farmshop: Summer Fun Day!

Celebrate the summer at Ludlow Farmshop!

Summer is finally here and we can start to really enjoy the lighter nights – and hopefully sunnier days! At Ludlow Farmshop there are plenty of great ways to make the most of outdoor dining this summer – from seasonal produce from their own Walled Garden to make the perfect fruit salad, to BBQ packs from the butchery counter, to freshly made sausage rolls and pork pies for that summer picnic – there’s something for everyone.

There are events all summer long to keep you entertained, including a Summer Fun Day on Saturday 20th August. Donkey rides, bouncy castle, gin bar, live music, a magician... and so much more! With free entry and free parking, it is set to be a great day out for all the family.

The onsite café, Ludlow Kitchen, has a passionate and talented team who are dedicated to creating wonderful seasonal food. They have recently launched a new summer menu which includes dishes such as Greek Style Orzo Salad and dishes that use ingredients directly from the onsite farm shop such as the Leek and Remembered Hills Blue Cheese Tart. The café has a spacious indoor restaurant area but also offers an outside courtyard. This can be the perfect sun trap for summer days but there is also plenty of parasol cover if it gets a little too hot! Dogs are welcome in the outdoor areas and conservatory.

The onsite restaurant,The Clive Arms, use fresh, local and seasonal ingredients to create food that is traditional with a modern twist. Seasonal dishes are added to the menu and now include some summer additions.

In addition to a café and restaurant, you can also find a brand-new takeaway which has just opened. From great tasting coffee and handmade sausage rolls to tasty paninis and bakery treats, it offers fresh food on the go. If you’re looking to cool down on a hot day, the cabin offers ice cream, made at the onsite dairy. You can enjoy a scoop of your favourite flavour on one of the picnic benches under the new covered awning area.
