Why this area? It’s a beautiful, quiet, relaxing area surrounded by the Black Mountains and Brecon Beacons.

What made you start the business? In memory of Emma Abberley.

What products and services do you offer at the flower field? Pick your own flowers e.g., Sunflowers, Dahlias, Cosmos, Cornflowers, Roses, Pumpkins and so much more.

What’s new for 2022? This year we had a scented garden where people could sit and relax amongst the flowers.

Do you cater for the general public or business too? We cater for everyone.

Describe a typical day in your business: As I enter Emma’s Flower Field, I am always hit with the feeling of tranquillity, it’s difficult to have a bad day when at the Field, its so relaxing and peaceful. Our first visitors of the day are the butterflies and bees, followed by the flow of customers, this is what I enjoy the most – meeting new people and seeing familiar faces each year. Its lovely watching families and friends giggling and having fun, having picnics, playing games, and relaxing in our quiet and play areas. It’s truly lovely to witness what we have created here at Emma’s Flower Field.
