A Ludlow man whose lifelong dream has been to run his own motorcycle sales and repair shop has turned his vision into a reality. Phil Saunders has recently opened South Shropshire Motorcycles Ltd on Gravel Hill, in the east of the town, in a space formerly occupied by Ludlow Stoves. The business offers sales and servicing of new and used motorcycles and scooters, tyres, MOT work, parts and much more.
Speaking of his new venture, Phil, 60, said: “When the premises became available I knew immediately I couldn’t let go of the opportunity – the space really is perfect.We have completely transformed the space to offer a large showroom, workshop and a space for customers to relax.There is nothing like this for miles around, so we hope to welcome riders from Ludlow, surrounding areas and even further afield.”
Phil added: “We’re not just for experienced riders – whether you’ve just got your L plates or you’re thinking about getting on two wheels, we have everything you need to get up and going.We also have an extensive catalogue of parts and accessories to browse, courtesy of industry leaders Bike It. And we have a growing range of new and used clothing.”
