A Holistic Solution

An Equine Bodyworker is someone trained in one or more types of soft tissue work which can help your horse to feel more comfortable and perform better. I am Suz Crichton-Stuart, an Equine Bodyworker based in Clyro, covering a wide area through Wales and the bordering English counties. With 17 years of experience and a passion for learning I am qualified in EquineTouch, CranioSacral Therapy, Lazaris Nerve Release and am half way through a degree in Equine Osteopathy.

What can I do for your horse? Well, with a range of different techniques I can help a range of different issues and types of horse. I have successfully helped horses with sore backs, those who are tricky to mount or nappy, horses who have started to refuse jumps, or become less responsive in the school or out hacking. I have worked with much loved family shetlands and international show jumpers; hunters, dressage horses, eventers and endurance horses; even foals right up to retired 30+ year old veterans. Helping poor posture such as dipped backs and upside down necks is a specialty of mine.

A session lasts about 1.5hrs and costs £50 for yards within 30 minutes drive of Clyro. I will come to your yard and all I need is a dry, cleanish horse and some space that we can walk around in, a yard, school or flatish field is fine.Together we will look at your horse’s body, consider how their feed, environment and tack might be affecting them, and I will work gently but effectively with their body to create visible changes in the way they feel and move.
