Christmas at Ludlow Castle

As part of Ludlow Winter Festival and the Ludlow Christmas light switch-on, Ludlow Castle is pleased to present a magical evening of light during which you will experience the castle as you never have before. Buildings will be transformed with Christmas themed moving images, lights and sounds. Play a part in the creativity with interactive stops along the way.

The circular route will bring you to Castle House Gardens where you can stop off at the Artisan Makers Market in the Beacon Rooms, with plenty of opportunity to find those special Christmas gifts before finishing back in the outer bailey for drinks and food.You will find a fully stocked bar, hot food and drinks, sweet treats and more.

Tickets go on sale at a reduced, early bird price for Ludlow residents on Saturday 1st October before going on general sale on Monday 10th October. Walk-in tickets on the night are subject to availability.

Father Christmas is taking time out of his busy schedule and staying with us here in Mortimers Tower : he would love to meet you to hear all about your Christmas wishes, and he will have a gift for all the children.We expect his naughty elves will cause mischief around the castle and we will need your help to track them down, so do join the elf trail! Mulled wine, mince pies, hot chocolate and sweet treats will be available.

Father Christmas is also making a very special request this year and would welcome donations for Ludlow Food Bank from anyone who is able to contribute.
