Nozstock: The Hidden Valley 2024
The much-loved local festival Nozstock: The Hidden Valley returns for one last time on Thursday 18th– Sunday 21st July 2024. One of the country’s longest running events, Nozstock is set to come to an end due to the impact of Covid-19 and the cost of living crisis.The festival is set to go out with a bang, with lots of hard work going on behind the scenes. Tucked away in the scenic Herefordshire countryside, the Nosworthy family have created an intimate, eccentric and family-friendly event unlike anything else in the UK. Boasting music, food, comedy and family entertainment, the team have held the event for the past 26 years. From its origins as a family BBQ, the festival has grown year upon year and it is now a four-day music and performing arts festival with 10 stages and over 450 artists and performers. Seeing out 2024 on the mainstage are some big names including the likes of Andy C (ft Tonn Piper), Groove Armada (DJ set), R&B disco legends Boney M and award-winning hip hop group, Arrested Development.
Having visited Nozstock over seven times now, Andy C is well-known to regular attendees. Andy has won the best D&B DJ award on Drum & Bass arena in 2001 and 2002 where in excess of 90,000 people voted, and again at Accelerated Culture’s ‘People’s Choice Awards’ in December 2002. Andy is also the highest ranking D&B DJ in the current DJ magazine Top 100 DJs placed at No. 28.
Icons Boney M will be bringing their floorfiller hits such as ‘Sunny’, ‘Rasputin’ and ‘Ma Baker’ as they ditch the Rivers of Babylon for the fields of Herefordshire. In the years 1975 to 1988 Boney M stomped their way through the charts to chalk up a
sensational 38 top ten hits. Alongside Boney M you can also find electronic duo Groove Armada tearing up the mainstage with a next-level DJ set.
Creative Director Ella Nosworthy said: “We are obviously very sad to say goodbye to Nozstock, but with that being said, we are planning to make this our biggest one yet and give it the send off it deser ves. If you have not been to the festival before, this is one year you cannot miss! We have absolutely packed our line-up with the very best artists, spanning a whole range of different genres and eras as well as comedians and live entertainment. I can’t wait to welcome everyone back to the farm one last time.” It doesn’t stop there. Across countless stages, filling every nook and cranny the farm can find, you can expect to find a whole host of fresh talent with the likes of House Gospel Choir, Leaf Dog & BVA, SASASAS, Turno, Utah Saints, A Little Sound, Gardna, Dutty Moonshine Big Band and 24 Hour Garage Girls. Whether you’re looking to explore the Cabinet of Lost Secrets, or skank it out at The Cubicles stage, there’s something for everyone.
As well as some of the hottest live music and DJs from across the globe, Nozstock boasts some of the best street food, comedy stages, local ales, crafts and kids areas, making for a good time for the whole family.
